Auditions to join OGC are held during the first few weeks of the academic year. It is a two-part process.

First, you must sing a solo audition for our conductor, Jeffrey Bernstein. This is your preliminary audition. You must come with a prepared solo that has piano accompaniment. After you sing your solo, Jeff will ask you to sight-read some other music.

Next, you will be asked to sing a quartet audition. This is your chance to meet the members and learn more about how we work. You will be invited to come to rehearsals for a week and learn a four-part piece that will be part of our repertoire for the entire year. After getting the week to learn the piece, you will return for your second audition. At this audition, you will sing your part with three returning members singing the three other parts. Jeff and OGC's student executive committee will be at this audition.

If you make it, you will join us the following week for the first rehearsals of the year!

The official audition info from this past year can be found here.

We can't wait to meet you and GOOD LUCK!
